Broadcasting Your Speakers

Updated: Jan 7, 2021

It’s time for your event and your speakers have been through rehearsals and system checks. It’s time to go live. If you’ve never done a virtual event before, this can be nerve-racking. Here are a few helpful tips to ensure a successful virtually broadcasted event:

  1. As mentioned above, it’s extremely important to rehearse prior to going live. Even the most seasoned keynote speaker or executive will need to understand that they are not speaking in front of a live audience, they are speaking in front of a camera. This is a very different experience for them.

  2. Your production partner will make or break your event. Having the right team in place will allow you to focus your attention on other moving parts of your virtual meeting or event. Let them handle all the technical elements.

  3. The number of viewers will help determine what the best platform to broadcast your presentations from. Believe it or not, this is a big decision.
